Concrete Blocks
The blocks that we manufacture include smooth blocks in 100 series, 150 series, 200 series and 300 series. We also manufacture split face blocks in 200 series, split face retaining wall blocks and planter blocks. All of these blocks are used for different applications and advice can be given by our sales staff on which blocks would be best suited to your needs.
We make a range of different colours, however they need to be made to order.
All of our blocks have the same height and length. The only thing that changes is the width of the block or in other terms the thickness of the wall being constructed.

Smooth Blocks

390 x 190 x 190Our smooth block range comes in a 100 series, 150 series, 200 series and 300 series. All of these blocks can be made in colour on request. We do not stock a large amount of smooth coloured blocks but will make them to order for customers. The series of the blocks refers to the width of the block or in other terms the thickness of the wall being constructed. For example, a 150 series block is 140mm wide and a 200 series block is 190mm wide. All of our standard blocks have the same height and length. Split Face Blocks

390 x 190 x 190Our split face blocks are used as a more decorative feature on houses or retaining walls. Split face blocks have a rough face on the front of the block, so when they are laid the wall is a feature. They are available in 4 different colours. These are Charcoal, Yellow, Sunstone and Sunset. They are only made in a 200 series which means the measurement of a standard split face block is 390mm long x 190mm high x 190mm wide. They are available in different heights and lengths and shapes for different applications.

Split Face Retaining Wall Blocks

390 x 190 x 190These blocks are used for the construction of retaining walls. They are a dry stacking block which means they do not require any mortar between the joints of the blocks. Each course steps back approximately 50mm and interlocks onto the previous course by a small ledge on the bottom of the block. This stops the wall from pushing forward from the pressure of the soil on the back of the wall. The measurement of these blocks is 390mm long x 190mm high x 190mm wide. They are available in 2 colours which are Sunset and Charcoal.

Planter Blocks

390 x 190 x 190Planter blocks are also used for the construction of retaining walls. They are a little different from the split face retaining blocks because they are a hollow block in the middle and have to be filled with soil as the wall is being constructed. The soil helps to lock the wall together. They are a smooth block and have a different shape to the Split Face retaining wall block. Their measurements are 390mm long x 190mm high x 190mm wide. These blocks lock from the front whereas the split face retaining blocks lock from the back. |
